AUOLIVE believes that CSR is not limited to large organisations. Instead, the willingness to take the first step to make a meaningful impact, small or big, on others lives is what truly matters.
Auolive, being all about embracing women, strives to do our part particularly for the marginalised women community in Singapore and around the region.
PROJECT LIVELIHOOD is a social enterprise established by Singaporeans Joseph & Anna Teo in July 2013. The generous and kind-hearted couple has been actively establishing social enterprises to expand employment opportunities and improve income for marginalized communities in the region.
Project Livelihood leverages on both Anna Tsang’s (in picture with the village women) fashion designer background and the couple’s own experiences in Singapore. Its focus is on developing skills and competencies of Cambodian women, mostly single mothers, especially from the outskirts of Siem Reap - in craftwork and sewing and exposing them to higher quality standards and marketable international designs.
Hand woven, every one of these craft works carries a deeper value of women empowerment and fight against poverty. Auolive’s favorite is this recycled can tab wristlet pouch. With the ingenious use of recycled can tabs, it is amazing how the pouch turns out looking unique and chic!
As the festive season approaches, Auolive would like to take this opportunity to contribute to Project Livelihood – Empowering Women by purchasing these lovely handmade wristlet pouches from them and to giveaway as gifts to our customers.
